Food at the retreat is provided on a self-catered basis, allowing guests to enjoy the experience of cooking fresh local produce in our gourmet kitchen. We shop to your requirements prior to your arrival and stock the kitchen with fresh food and quality beverages sourced locally where possible.

Should you want for anything during the duration of your stay, Dave and the staff are always just a phone call away in order to pick up and deliver extra provisions. From preparing snacks and meals to bringing over the morning paper, their focus is on ensuring you can concentrate on the more important things, like enjoying our beautiful property and its surroundings!

Alternatively, take the opportunity to sit back and relax with a glass of local wine in hand while a fully qualified chef prepares a gourmet meal at the retreat, proving to be a popular 'last night treat' with our guests.

Another favourite dining option with guests is a night out at one of Picton's boutique restaurants. Let us take care of everything, from recommending the venue and making the booking, through to transferring your group to and from Double Cove Retreat. Sample some of the regions award winning delicacies and then return for a soak in the hot tub, it doesn't get much better than that!
