On-site facilities and activities

Pull up alongside Double Cove's own private jetty and be greeted by an extensive array of outdoor facilities and equipment: all available for your use and enjoyment. Whether out in the kayaks, on the donut or water skis, snorkelling, or taking the catamaran for a sail, the activities available at Double Cove Retreat will see even the most active members of your group spoilt for choice.

The waterfront area boasts a fully equipped day house, with ensuite, plasma screen TV and sound system. The waterfronts' expansive decks, outdoor hot tub, BBQ, and dining area, provide the ideal venue from which to make it a getaway to remember.

The properties west-facing grounds maximise sunlight hours and the sheltered bay is perfect for a host of water-based team building challenges and activities. The retreat's fixed and floating jetties are able to accommodate vessels of up to 60 feet allowing fishing trips, sailing charters and launch tours to be carried out direct from the retreat. Or if you prefer to take in an aerial view of this breathtaking piece of New Zealand, why not take a scenic helicopter flight direct from our helipad.

Other onsite facilities include an air rifle, pistol and archery shooting range, and a fully maintained speedboat.

At various times we are also able to organise professionals of various fields to conduct master classes at the retreat. These include cooking classes, wine appreciation, art tuition and talks from a naturalist. In-house massages and spa services can also be arranged.
